Bio:

Hi. My name is Andrew and I'm a Nintendo geek.

I'm a production assistant at Red Bee Media, helping to produce subtitles and signed programmes for the BBC, Channel Four, five, UKTV and others. I love my job, hate the commute across London. I used to be a student at York University, where I studied Computer Science, somewhat half-heartedly. I was also the Chair of the York Student Cinema, so I got to boss underlings around, which is always fun.

In my spare time I write, listen to music, watch films, read books, "read" graphic novels, play computer games and buy things on eBay. Yes, I am very sad. I occasionally go for walks, either into town to stare glumly at the things that I can't afford, or just for the hell of it but that mostly happens only when it's raining or I need to get away from my housemates (currently my parents). My taste in music is insane, ranging across most genres; I used to be a die-hard (modern) punk fanboy but now I'm easier to please, apparently.

I dislike buses, and prefer to walk everywhere as I can't drive and my cycling ability is best surmised as "crap". I use trains when I need to go long distance or I'm in London and am feeling particularly lazy ;)

That's about it. I have two sisters, two parents (one of each), and two nieces, plus a smattering of other relatives. I have lots of friends scattered across the UK who seem to put up with my ways, which is nice.
